Military Transition Inc. is a veteran-owned company proudly founded and headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina. Our mission is rooted in service, leadership, and community empowerment.

Our founder, Edward Pinckney, is a native Charlestonian and a proud member of the Gullah Geechee community. A decorated infantry combat veteran with the 82nd Airborne Division, Mr. Pinckney specialized in counterterrorism and counterinsurgency operations during his military service. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart for his bravery and dedication in combat.

Following his military career, Mr. Pinckney went on to serve in senior leadership roles as a member of presidential staff within the Executive Office of the President at the White House, working under two administrations. In addition to his public service, he is a published author and an accomplished inventor, holding multiple patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Pinckney is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he studied engineering. He also holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business at Columbia International University.
